COLLAPSE INTO NOW: THAT SOMEONE IS YOU

Currently my favorite song on the album.  It pretty much reeks of Mike Mills influence.  I can't get the song out of my head and the best part is that it's so short that it's only in my head for a moment.  Plus it's so passive aggresive that it can be paired with the character from Losing My Religion fairly easily.  Perhaps that person in the corner finally had the other person make the move.
Also if you're interested, Young Marble Giants were a great subtle band from the late '70's and early 80's, one of the Buck and Stipe groups that influenced them ... and of course the guitar player played a Rickenbacker.  Very cool group.  Also, the New Order cover that might be referenced here is Grant Lee Phillips cover of 'Age of Consent,' itself a restrained song, but Phillips put the troubadour mojo to it on his album 'nineteeneighties' an album where he also covered 'So. Central Rain.'

THAT SOMEONE IS YOU

With the restraint of New Order covers
Young Marble Giants
I sat, quietly, waiting
For someone else to make the first move
Someone else to make the first move

That someone is you
That someone is you
That someone has pulled me up and out of cartoon quicksand
Pulled me up and out of me

And with the fury lock of Sharon Stone Casino
Scarface Al Pacino, ’74 Torino
I need someone else to make the first move
Someone else to make the first move

That someone is you
That someone is you
That someone has pulled me up and out of cartoon quicksand
Pulled me up and out of me
You pull me up and out of cartoon quicksand
Pull me up and out of me

Peter tends to shy away from barred chords, but it sounds the same here.  This might be the easiest and most fun song to play from the album.
